| Little Flower Nursery School is an independent not-for-profit school which accepts qualified candidates regardless of race, religion or national origin. The school adheres to the values and principles of the Catholic heritage. Each child is cherished and encouraged to grow spiritually, socially, academically, physically and aesthetically in a warm and structured setting. |
| Little Flower Nursery School offers a clearly articulated integrated sequential curriculum which includes language, reading and writing readiness, mathematics, science, art, French, music, movement and physical education. The school promotes active learning by means of hands-on experiences and projects. Classrooms are spacious, bright and very well-equipped. Children are encouraged to become aware and care for themselves, others and their environment. Books include children classics; a wide variety of art media, puppets and storytelling sets and props are provided for creative expression. |
| The principal and the head teachers are certified and experienced early childhood educators. They hold Master's degrees in early childhood education. The principal is a licensed New York State School Administrator and Supervisor and School District Administrator. |
| Clear communication keeps parents informed about children's educational development. We hope to see parents frequently at social and educational events, meetings, parent-teachers conferences and other activities which build up the community. |
| We believe that it is very important to ease the child's transition from home to school and we are committed to managing this process comfortably. |
